U Naing Min Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs received Mr. Gustavo Rocha de Menezes, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to Myanmar at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on 26 March 2026 at 1000 hrs.
During the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on matter pertaining to the acceleration of existing friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation between Myanmar and Brazil, and matters of mutual interest including trade and investment.
Furthermore, the discussion focused on the enhancement of cooperation under the ASEAN-Brazil Sectoral Dialogue Partnership, the way forward for the promotion of cooperation between ASEAN and Brazil, and the strengthening of bilateral cooperation based on the principles enshrined in the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia (TAC). Also present at the meeting were officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
