
On 27 October 2025, the Myanmar delegation took part in a series of Summits with ASEAN’s dialogue partners. These included the 26th ASEAN-Republic of Korea Summit, the 28th ASEAN Plus Three Summit, the 5th Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Summit, the 20th East Asia Summit, the 15th ASEAN-United Nations Summit and the Gala Dinner hosted by the Prime Minister of Malaysia and Spouse.
The Summits provided a platform for reviewing the ongoing cooperation between ASEAN and its partners, exchanging views on future collaboration, and discussing key regional and global developments.
At the Summits, the Head of the Myanmar delegation emphasized the importance of enhancing ASEAN’s engagement with each dialogue partner within existing cooperation frameworks. He also called for practical, inclusive, and mutually beneficial approaches to shape future collaboration.
The Head of Myanmar delegation shared the developments in Myanmar, including Myanmar’s continued cooperation with ASEAN in implementing the Five-Point Consensus in line with its National Five-Point Roadmap, preparation for the free, fair, inclusive and credible General Elections, Government’s efforts to achieving long-lasting peace across the country and necessary counter measures to maintain peace, security and safety of the people.
